Neptune Boat Lifts was created by a group of dedicated marine professionals who believed that existing boat lift designs and materials were inadequate for the harsh marine environment and modern yacht designs. In 2007, Jimmie Harrison, David Humphreys and Randy Whitesides pooled their expertise to build a superior boatlift company dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and utilizing the finest materials and engineering for designs that meet the needs of the customer. This, coupled with unparalleled customer service has catapulted Neptune to the forefront of the industry.

Neptune’s emphasis on quality and performance makes our lifts the preferred choice of experienced and knowledgeable boaters who own high-quality boats and yachts.

Customers include professional race drivers (auto and marine), boat builders, marine contractors, engineers, and passionate boating enthusiasts.

Every Neptune boat lift is custom manufactured to exacting specifications for a customer’s individual requirements.

  • Cradle Lifts (4 Post) range from 4,500 lbs to 35,000 lbs.
  • Elevators range from 3,000 lbs to 72,000 lbs.
  • Yacht Lifts (8 Post) range from 30,000 lbs to 300,000 lbs.

There is no simple way to answer the “Which type of lift to use?” question. The selection of lift type is determined by the property, canal width, dock type, local code requirements and personal preference.

All our lifts are manufactured in the United States at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida factory. We use domestically produced T6061 T6 Virgin Aluminum exclusively. All of our critical stainless components (stainless steel cables, shackles, etc.) are manufactured or sourced locally in the United States. We follow extensive quality control procedures to assure a great product utilizing designs that are independently reviewed and analyzed by licensed structural engineers.

Ordinarily, we do not sell directly to the end user. We have a vast resource of experienced dealers, marine contractors, and specialized lift installers. If you are in a location not currently represented by a Neptune dealer, we can design your lift, arrange delivery and provide installation supervision and support according to your needs.

The quality of the boat lift installation is as important as the boat lift itself. While a self-installation is possible, it can be an involved do-it-yourself project. A poorly installed lift can result in damage to the lift, pilings and boat. We STRONGLY recommend professional installations by authorized Neptune dealers. Neptune has a large network of over 150 marine contractors and lift installers around the world. If we do not have one in your area, we can arrange to send an installation supervisor to work with you and your local contractor.

The most critical requirement of lift usage is proper positioning of the boat on the cradle. It is imperative for the boat’s center of gravity to be in the middle of the lift. An improperly loaded boat can result in accelerated wear and possible failure. Upon installation, the authorized dealer will demonstrate the proper position in which to load the boat onto the lift.

A properly installed Neptune lift is a low-maintenance product. Monthly inspections and bi-annual lubrication/service is all that is necessary.

Inspect the cables before each use. Ensure that the cables are properly wound on the grooved winder.

If you have an Elevator boat lift, it is important to inspect your zincs on a monthly basis. Be certain that all 4 leads (3 on 115VAC) of your electrical supply are completely disconnected when the lift is not in use.

An installation contractor is trained to inspect and service the lift. However, it can also be done by a handy boat owner. If you do your own maintenance, keep records in case any possible warranty claims should arise.

Yes! There is a 10 Year Warranty on the structure, a 5 year warranty on the gearboxes, and a 2 year warranty on electrical components.
