A custom lift approach for waterfront properties.
Engineered Capacity: Up to 20,000+ lbs
Designed For: Seawalls, canal homes, and tight waterfront slips
Neptune Elevator Boat Lifts are not selected by boat type or location alone. Each system should be evaluated based on the vessel, property, structure, water depth, beam, capacity requirements, environmental exposure, and installation conditions.
Some customers choose elevator lifts because of seawall layouts, canal settings, or limited dock space. Others choose them for open-sided vessel access, cleaner dock layouts, or personal preference. The right lift depends on the application.
A Neptune Elevator Lift may be considered when the project requires:
A seawall, dock, or piling-supported mounting approach
Open-sided access to the vessel
A lift layout that reduces surrounding piling structure
A configuration based on beam, capacity, and site requirements
A custom installation reviewed by Neptune and an authorized marine contractor
Every elevator lift application should be reviewed based on the actual vessel and waterfront conditions.
Neptune angled aluminum elevator lifts are cantilever-style lift systems mounted to a seawall or piling-supported structure tied back to land.
Standard systems use aluminum I-beam tracks driven into the seabed until refusal. Elevator arms travel along the tracks and are driven by powerheads mounted at the top of the system. The cradle, bunks, cables, guide components, and track alignment all work together to raise and lower the vessel.
Because elevator lifts depend heavily on track alignment and structural support, proper installation is critical. These systems should be installed by authorized Neptune dealers and qualified marine contractors familiar with Neptune elevator lift requirements.
Key application factors include:
Vessel loaded weight
Vessel beam
Hull design and center of gravity
Mounting structure and tie-back requirements
Track alignment and installation conditions
Water depth and tidal range
Electrical and drive system requirements
Environmental exposure and electrolysis protection
Built with materials and components selected for long-term performance.
Neptune Elevator Boat Lifts are built with aluminum and stainless-steel construction for demanding waterfront environments. Each system can be configured with Neptune components and options designed to support performance, durability, and serviceability over time.
Available features and options may include:
Aluminum and stainless-steel construction
Low-draft elevator design
Compact Direct Drive units
G3 High Speed and G6 SuperFast drive options
Stainless-steel cables
Solid Delrin rollers
Stainless-steel roller pins
Heavy-duty adjustable guide poles
Aluminum bunks or custom bunking options
SEArmor corrosion-resistant package
Complete disconnect switch
Sacrificial anodes
Auto stop and limit switch options where applicable
Underwater bracing for selected deepwater applications
Electrolysis protection is an important consideration for elevator lifts because portions of the system remain in the water. Proper installation, sacrificial anodes, disconnect switches, and maintenance all play a role in long-term performance.
Neptune elevator lifts are available with multiple direct drive configurations designed to optimize lifting speed and performance.
Direct Drive is a dependable choice for everyday use, using a sealed, self-maintained drive unit with stainless steel motors. G3 High Speed Direct Drive provides faster lifting performance for owners who want added convenience. G6 SuperFast Direct Drive is designed for maximum speed and performance when lift time matters most.
Drive options include:
Direct Drive | G3 High-Speed Drive | G6 SuperFast Drive |
Dependable lifting performance for everyday use. | Faster lift speeds for improved convenience. | Maximum performance for demanding lifting applications. |
Direct drive systems eliminate belts and chains, delivering smoother operation and reduced maintenance over time.

Final lift selection should always be based on the vessel’s loaded weight, not just the dry weight. Fuel, water, engines, batteries, gear, accessories, and equipment all affect the real lifting weight. Neptune’s boat weight calculator accounts for dry weight, fuel, water, holding tanks, engines, options, and added gear weight when estimating the proper lift size.

For larger boats, Neptune also manufactures Elevator Yacht Lifts with capacities up to 72,000 lbs. These systems are designed for more demanding applications where a seawall-mounted or piling-supported elevator configuration is preferred over a traditional yacht lift layout.
Elevator Yacht Lifts are available with heavy-duty compact drive units, stainless steel aircraft cables, adjustable guide poles, piling or seawall mounting, cable retention systems, custom bunking, and available G6 SuperFast drive upgrades. Neptune’s elevator yacht lift materials list common configurations including 27,000 lb., 33,000 lb., 40,000 lb., and 54,000 lb. models, with custom specifications available depending on the project.
